Democratic MP Belind Këlliçi declared that on Saturday, the Democratic Party will hold three meetings with the three leaders of the opposition parties, Fatmir Mediu, Vangjel Dule and Agron Duka.

In a television show, Këlliçi said that the DP will extend a hand of cooperation to the party led by Arlind Qori, but also to Agron Shehaj, thus approaching the leaders of some of the small opposition parties that could cooperate to come up with a common name for the Tirana Municipality race.

Këlliçi said that to overthrow the Socialists, the opposition must join forces.

"Tomorrow we have 3 meetings with allies, with 3 parliamentary parties: Mediu, Dule, Duka. We will enter with every political force. We will sit with every political force and with Mr. Shehaj. What is the profile of the candidate we will have.

With everyone, I have extended a hand of cooperation and Arlind Qori's party, the Together Movement, even though ideologically and even though we have 180 degrees opposite positions, but if we have common opponents, I believe what they say and stand by them. If we want to be practical in overthrowing Rama, let's join forces.

Our meetings will focus on discussions in principle on the profile of the municipal candidate.
