Tirana Mayoral Candidate Alimehmeti Denies an Alliance with Qori: He Is Not of the Right-Wing Spectrum

Democrat Ilir Alimehmeti commented today on the possibilities of the Democratic Party's cooperation with small parties in coming up with a candidate for the Municipality of Tirana.

In a television studio, Alimehmeti also stopped by the Together Movement, led by Arlind Qori.

Alimehmeti denied a possible alliance with Qori, as according to him, he is not part of the right-wing spectrum.

"We care about the result at the end of the day. Unity is the key. The DP, as the largest opposition party, must take responsibility for leading a united front. It is a moment for reflection and for unity. Mr. Qori is not part of the right-wing spectrum, so he cannot be considered as an alliance option for us," said Alimehmeti./CNA
