"Rama no longer produces politics"/ Këlliçi: We are not

Democratic MP Belind Këlliçi said today that the Democratic Party has no intention of boycotting the elections for the Municipality of Tirana.

In a television appearance, Këlliçi stated that in a few days there will be a reaction from the DP's legal team regarding today's presidential decree setting November 9 as the date for the capital.

Këlliçi added that the DP will offer a debate, program and platform in these elections, while he did not hesitate to accuse the majority and Prime Minister Edi Rama of abusing the elections.

"We have to wait a few days for the reaction of the DP's legal team regarding the president's decree. Whether or not there will be elections is another matter. If the opposition did not participate, we have seen how it was handled. Will we have a confrontation with the position, this remains to be seen."

We have sanctioned in the statute that this political force will no longer boycott any elections. We are at the stage where we do not yet have a report on the May 11 elections. The process is no longer going according to this standard. In Albania, there are no more elections, no program. There is only division according to groups of the criminal network. The groups each have interests according to areas. And we are clear that Rama no longer produces politics.

We have a process that is in favor of the program, debate and platform. And another group that has turned the country into the private property of the president of the Aruba summit, which is Edi Rama.
