Prime Minister Rama in Denmark/ Participates in the meetings of the European Political Community

Today, an informal meeting between European Union leaders will take place in Copenhagen, which will precede the European Political Community Summit to be held on October 2.

Prime Minister Edi Rama, who is heading to the Danish capital today, will also participate in these meetings.

The informal meeting is chaired by European Council President Antonio Costa and chaired by Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. The focus of the European Political Community Summit will be on strengthening Europe's defenses following Russia's violations of several countries' airspaces and support for Ukraine.

The discussions will conclude with guidance on the European Union's plan for the next steps in implementing the defence preparedness objective.

The plan emerging from the summit will be discussed at the European Council on October 23-24, 2025./ CNA
