Berisha accuses the majority: It seeks to silence the opposition and politically

The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, accused today that the majority and the government are trying unstoppably and decisively to tear apart the opposition.

In his speech at the opening of the DP Parliamentary Group meeting, Berisha stated that in the last 9 parliamentary sessions, the opposition has been blocked like never before in 33 years of political pluralism.

"We are meeting today out of turn due to an extraordinary situation in which we find ourselves due to the unstoppable determination of the narco-government to suppress the opposition and oppositionism with all its potential. And to transform it into a tool worthless for any function for the citizens, to silence it and to politically annihilate it in parliament. There were 10 sessions in which the government, in 9 of them, denied the opposition any debate on any issue that came to it in parliament. It has never happened in the history of pluralism of 33 years and never before, that out of all the sessions, the opposition has expressed itself in only one", - said Berisha. /CNA
