The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, is giving his speech to the media before the meeting of the DP Parliamentary Group. Berisha spoke about the achievement of the ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, which he said was achieved thanks to Trump's efforts for peace.

While speaking about the countries that welcomed the agreement, Berisha said that Tirana, by not reacting, sided with North Korea's Kim Jong Un and the leaders of Iran.

"Last weekend, a peace agreement was signed in Sharm el Sheikh. The first phase of the agreement between Israel and Hamas was implemented. This was achieved after the efforts of President Trump. This agreement is also supported by us, in this position that we are in. We hope that Hamas fulfills the commitments it has made and that the agreement is consolidated into a peace agreement. One of the most important moments was the US air operation in Tehran. If there is an event that repeats history, it is the airstrike ordered by Donald Trump on Tehran.
