The Conference of Mayors has approved, at its meeting held today, the two draft decisions proposed by the Socialist Party for the establishment of two special commissions, one for the administrative-territorial reform and one for the implementation of the electoral reform. 

"For the second and third items on the agenda, which were the review of the request of a group of deputies of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group "On the establishment of the Special Parliamentary Committee of the Albanian Parliament for the Implementation of Electoral Reform" and the review of the request "On the establishment of the Special Parliamentary Committee of the Albanian Parliament for the Administrative-Territorial Reform in the Republic of Albania", the Conference of Speakers reached agreement and approved the two requests in question." , the Assembly's announcement states.

At today's meeting, the request of the Chairman of the Standing Committee on Agriculture, Food and Rural Development "On the establishment of 3 (three) subcommittees within the Committee on Agriculture, Food and Rural Development" was also approved.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the first item on the agenda, which was the review of the draft work program of the Assembly for the period October 20 - November 28, 2025 and the review of the draft calendar of the Assembly's work for the period October 20 - November 7, 2025, was not approved.  /CNA
