Sali Berisha: Edi Rama ordered the "execution" of our identity
Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha in protest

Today, with your presence at this meeting, mark that historic event that the liberating students marked on December 8, 1990.

Today, with this rally, mark that historic event that marked a small handful of Democrats and Democrats, who gathered in September of 1997 at their headquarters, in protest to prove that they were alive and undefeated.

Today we are not 30, nor 50, but hundreds of times more. But today we are on the same mission.

In September 1997, the PD in Albania and in the world, most thought that it ended in the archives, the calendars of history.

But they were wrong.

Then as now, a political prosecutor, the executioner of the state security, accused Sali Berisha of crimes against humanity and the parliament removed his immunity, 8 months before The Hague accused Slobodan Milosevic.

At that time, they thought that the revenge of the fathers came to extinguish the ideals of Albanian freedom. But they were wrong.

We started with 30 in the headquarters yard, we became 300, we became 3000, we became 30000 and 300 thousand and we returned with the vote to power. We returned to power with the free vote because those 30 citizens who came to the DP yard were 30 freedom fighters. That the 300 citizens who joined them were 300 freedom fighters.

Freedom fighters there is no force in the world that can defeat them. They are, by God's blessing, winners and only winners.

I stopped at this moment for another reason, to tell them that neither I, nor those who were in the yard that day, none of them were protesting for Sali Berisha, all of them were protesting for the ideals of freedom, the ideals of freedom, the highest of man.

Even today we are here for the ideals of freedom, we are here at a turning point that history invites us to. We are here in an oath that our present and our future require.

We are here to communicate to Edi Rama, this fierce enemy of the Albanian being, that you are condemned for life because of the vote of the Albanians.

That, Edi Rama, you are an executioner, the nephew of an executioner, you have been acting like an executioner with the Albanian vote for years, Albanians have been voting for years and you take out the machetes of crime and gangs to execute their vote.

Edi Rama, for years since your chair, you don't know law, you don't know morals, you don't know norms, you don't know standards, believing that you oppressed the democrats, believing that the savage revenge of your executioner fathers is falling on them.

Edi Rama, the end has come. I guarantee that you will never dare to touch the Albanian vote again.

So what is required of us today? A turning point is required, a turning point in which we must come to the square as men and women sworn to freedom, freedom fighters.

We must come out with the oath that we give our lives, we do not give our votes.

We must come out with the oath that an enemy, the most ferocious in the history of the existence of Albanians, who drove away 1.3 million Albanians in 10 years and today the census shows that only 1.5 million Albanians are left in Albania.

Will answer until one!

Edi Rama, it's the end of you, gather and crouch wherever you want!

A few weeks ago I warned you that what you were seeing in the parliament, that disobedience of the DP deputies, was just the beginning.

You will see the disobedience of these freedom fighters.

Find a hole to get into, find a rat hole to get into.

The lawyers of the dictatorship will tell them that you are fighting for the personal interests of Sali Berisha. Tell these wretches that you are lickers of the dictatorship and in a way blood drinkers of this people.

But Sali Berisha is fighting and will fight until the last day of his life for the freedom and dignity of Albanians. And together with you for the victory of their democratic ideals.

In 1997, it was a dramatic year.

No one in the world was looking back at us. We believed in the right, we believed in what we defended and we did not waver, we did not waver, we did not retreat, but we went from daily protest to civil disobedience. We passed, we put them forward and in fact in 2001 we won the elections, they robbed us.

Edi Rama, don't try again, we will never forgive the vote. You're done!

So, today is a big turning point, for all of you who are here, but also for those who would have been here with us in spirit and heart, but were unable to come.

Today we open a new chapter in the history of the freedom of the Albanian nation, the chapter of the battle without return towards the regime that is destroying our being, towards the regime that has stolen our vote, towards the regime that is denying the basic constitutional rights of your representatives in the parliament , towards the regime that has created identical repressive instruments as those of the communist dictatorship.

What happens now in the parliament?

Now in the parliament, two laros, mercenaries of Edi Rama, have come after they decided against the Constitution to deprive me of my freedom, now not that they do not withdraw, but as superiors of the parliament due to the orders of Edi Rama, they come to aggravate the measures from me.

This is the most blatant evidence of a monist state, where the parliament, the prosecution, the police, the army, the information service, are in the hands of one man, controlled by one man.

Does he seem strong to you? No, it's rot. We who dragged the bust, will remove it from power.

What is happening in the parliament today? Today in the parliament, the commission is voting on the law, which stops the investigation of Edi Rama.

No, Edi Rama, you are convinced that there is no law that will prevent us without investigating your thefts, without investigating the thefts you have committed against Albanians.

What's happening? They call the journalist, kidnap him, put him in the same security labyrinths as before, terrorize him, I have heard stories like in Kafka's novels from other journalists.

But why? That he has the name of Edi Rama in those records, in those connections with the crime he denounced, two names appear, Taulant Balla and Edi Rama. And they are afraid that they will be published.

We will protect journalists. We say to the scapists, give up the misery we have overthrown the world's most vicious secret police and we have nothing to do with them.

I guarantee you that you will be held responsible for any violation of the law and the Constitution and that you will be treated the same as the criminal phalanx of the head of Medusa, the chief thief of Albania, Edi Rama.

With Edi Rama, we have heavy scores to settle. Edi Rama has behaved towards us, towards you, just like the Nazis in the concentration camps with the Jews. They took away the names of the Jews and gave them a number, and the days, weeks, months were called by numbers. They forgot their names.

But we guarantee Edi Rama that he will pay dearly for what he has done and tries to do with our identity.

On December 27, every democrat, in front of the Supreme Court, where Edi Rama ordered the execution of our identity.

We will stay. We will win!

Next Thursday, all before the monist parliament. I invite you on Thursday and every Thursday, in front of the parliament, for pluralism, for democracy.

I call on every Albanian citizen, who loves this country even a little, to stop for a moment.

What should Albania suffer more than losing 35 percent of boys and girls in 10 years?

What should Albania suffer more than the Albanian vote being counted by gangs and bought by Edi Rama?

What should Albania suffer more than the return of imprisonment and political processes?

What should Albania suffer more than journalists being abducted as once by the State Security, only to protect the black face of Edi Rama and Taulant Balla?

What do you expect Albania to suffer more than opposition MPs being denied any right in parliament?

What do you expect Albania to suffer more than 1 billion euros being stolen in just one affair and the thieves being amnestied and not even daring to mention their names?

What should we expect, to remain a country in extermination, in extinction, a time when we have the most fabulous assets.

Wake up my friends because evil, because dictatorship wants nothing but your silence.

Don't be fooled by their propaganda.

Their propaganda has only one purpose. Consolidation of the power of crime in this country.

I have a call for the youth of this country: take on the historic mission. You, as freedom fighters, order us to come to Albania today.

It is not the issue of an individual, it is the issue of every Albanian.

Do not forget that this man who kills the hope of Albanians like no other, but those who have no dream, have no future. And we never deserve that.

I appeal to the media, the public interest should be your guiding principle. Do everything you can to rise above the censorship they impose on you. Do everything you can to protect each other because each of you could be an Elton Qyno tomorrow. Because each of you can be a journalist who packs his bags and runs away.

So wake up.

I will remind you here a moment. On February 20, 1991, over 100,000 people were coming from the Student City. At the door of the state VAT office of Ramiz Sali, dozens of employees stood in solidarity with the protesters, in solidarity with the freedom fighters.

You too today have the historic mission to do everything to encourage and support a movement that will inevitably overthrow the dictatorship.

So, today we close this historic meeting as victors, sworn not to part with it until the day of victory. Sworn that we will use every means of civil disobedience against this regime. Sworn, every means of civil disobedience is no more, there is no force that stops us anymore.

We are and will remain freedom fighters until the day of complete victory.

Of leaving, of overthrowing this regime that is exterminating Albanians./ CNA
