NASA has announced that the two astronauts stranded on the International Space Station (ISS) will return to Earth, on SpaceX, in February 2025.
Pilot Sunita "Suni" Williams and commander Barry "Butch" Wilmore stepped out of Boeing's new spacecraft on June 5 and were to remain in orbit for eight days after docking at the ISS.
However, problems with the Starliner's propulsion system have repeatedly delayed the return of NASA astronauts to Earth.

According to NASA's Commercial Crew Manager, Steve Stich, many of the Starliner's thrusters in the propulsion system overheated when fired up, and leaks of the helium used to pressurize the thrusters appear to be related to how often they are used. ./CNA
