Study/ Music can negatively affect our mood

Listening to music has always been considered a way by which we can lift our mood, get inspired.

If we are sad or burdened spiritually and mentally then music can make us feel an even deeper sadness.

A previous 2019 study published in Psychology of Music has shown more about this fact.

Specifically, the researchers found that 17% of the participants in this experiment reported feeling sadder as a result of listening to sad and melancholic music when their emotional and mental state was depressed.
