The Crime Investigation Specialists of Police Commissariat No. 5, in continuation of their work to crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, based on information obtained through operational means, regarding 2 citizens who were selling narcotics and possessing illegal items in their apartment, have organized and finalized, in cooperation with the Narcotics Section, the police operation codenamed "Combination".

As a result of the operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: AT, 53 years old, resident of the village of Gjormë, Laç, and TT, 27 years old, resident of Tirana, both with previous criminal records in the field of narcotics.

These citizens were stopped by the Police services in Bathore, while driving 2 vehicles, in which, during the search, a total of 4 kg of suspected cannabis were found, which they allegedly possessed with the intention of selling in doses, in Bathore and Kamëz.

Further, in cooperation with the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, a search was carried out in the apartment of the 53-year-old, in the village of Gjormë, where an environment adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, with lamps, was found. During the search in this environment, 48 plants and 120 cannabis sativa seedlings, cultivated in pots, 7 kg of suspected narcotic cannabis, 4 TNT molds, 2 grenades, 2 igniters, 7 detonator fuses and 3 boxes of combat mine igniters were found.

During a search of the 27-year-old's apartment in Tirana, 1 kg of suspected cannabis, 1 electronic scale, 1 metal rod and 1 cold weapon (knife) were found.

Investigations continue to identify other citizens who may be implicated in these criminal activities.
