Italian businessman shot dead in Tepelena

A serious incident occurred in Tepelna where businessman ES was found shot dead.

Sarchit managed a brick factory in Tirana.

According to reports, the businessman was shot by a car while walking.

The incident occurred at around 00:30 in the village of Salari. So far, several people have been arrested for the incident.

"Around 00:30, in the village of Salari, in the place called "Dilan", the Italian citizen ES, 44 years old, resident of Tirana, was found dead on the street, suspected of being killed with a firearm.

Police services, upon receiving the notification, immediately went to the scene.

A special investigative group has been established, which, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working intensively to clarify the circumstances, legal documentation, as well as to identify and apprehend the perpetrator(s).

Meanwhile, the Police services, in cooperation with the Local Police Directorate of Fier and Vlora, are conducting checks in various areas and environments, to capture the perpetrators," the police/ CNA reports.
