The police of Vlora have arrested a 28-year-old man, the author of placing a quantity of explosives three days ago in a bar in Vlora.

The 28-year-old with two identities BS alias B. M turns out to be the author of placing the explosive substance on 08.12.2024, around 05:50, in a bar, in the neighborhood "Uji i Ftohte", owned by the citizen RB, 73 years old, where significant material damage was caused as a result of the explosion.

Meanwhile, images of the author placing the tritol have been published. 

"The services of the Vlora Police Station, in cooperation with the structures of the Vlora Local Police Directorate and under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of Vlora, through an in-depth investigative and professional work, finalized the coded operation "DANGER".

Based on intensive investigative actions and documentation with legal evidence, it became possible to arrest the citizen BS alias B. M, 28 years old, resident of the "Isa Boletini" neighborhood and with criminal records in the field of narcotics and property theft.

The investigation shows that this citizen is suspected of being the author of placing the explosive substance on 08.12.2024, at around 05:50, in a bar, in the "Uji i Ftohtë" neighborhood, owned by the citizen RB, 73 years old, where as As a result of the explosion, significant material damage was caused.

During the operation, through coordinated actions and supported by scientific evidence, two mobile phones, a bicycle and the clothing used during the event were seized as material evidence.

Investigations continue to identify and arrest other persons involved in this criminal activity.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for the criminal offenses of "Destruction of property with explosives" and "Unauthorized possession of weapons and military ammunition", informs the police./ CNA
