Illegal border crossing remains a concern for the authorities who have dealt with another case.

A 30-year-old citizen of Kosovo was put in handcuffs after he tried to pass a 24-year-old from the Ivory Coast against payment and a fictitious work contract.  

The 24-year-old from the Ivory Coast had entered Albania with a forged document, which the 30-year-old RM had provided to him.  

From the investigations of the authorities, it was found that the Republic of Moldova had provided the foreign citizen with a fictitious employment contract, in order to help him, against payment, to illegally cross the border with the EU countries after entering Albania.

Illegal Traffic Investigation Specialists of DVP Tirana, in cooperation with the Rinas Border Police Station, have arrested RM, 30 years old, a resident of Tirana, while the criminal proceedings have started for the foreign citizen, AK, 24 years old. / CNA
