Gunshots/ Police provide details, one injured person is confirmed

The police have given the first details of the gunshots in Tirana, on Elbasan Street, near "Sofra e Ariut".

Blue informs that the citizen with the initials AK has injured the citizen with the initials Xh. K. The latter received a leg wound and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to the blues, the perpetrator and the injured are neighbors of each other.

From the preliminary information, the causes and circumstances of these gunshots are not yet known, however, work is continuing to clarify the event.

"On 17.02.2024, around 5:35 p.m., on Elbasan Street, the citizen AK is suspected of having injured the citizen Xh. K., about 47 years old, (neighbors to each other), who is in the hospital, under the care of doctors.

Police services are continuing to comb the area for the capture of the suspected perpetrator.

The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the event," the police announcement states./ CNA
