Former Chief Prosecutor Elisabeta Imeraj spoke this evening about the murder of Liridona Adem and the investigations of the Kosovo Prosecutor's Office.

Imeraj said that media reporting could negatively affect the work of the prosecutor's office to solve this murder.

She emphasized on Klodiana Lala's show that until now the prosecution does not have a lead, while she suggested that Liridona's relatives be interrogated.

"Media reporting can negatively affect the work of the prosecution to clarify this event. We agree on one thing that there is no prosecutor's office, neither the one in Pristina nor ours in Albania, that does not start with the good motive of finding out. But in these conditions where they came and with the little that has been maintained by the prosecution until now, there is no clear clue as to the motive of this event. I hope this will work out and the closest people would have been of special help. In the forced and regrettable absence of the deceased, then the prosecution should be directed towards people close to her, it could be a close friend, it could be a close family member, it could be telephone communications.
