The police of Vlora were able to arrest 39-year-old Henerik Boba alias Ermal Hitaj, sentenced by the Italian court to over 7 years of imprisonment, for participating in a criminal organization for drug trafficking.

The 39-year-old is expected to be extradited to Italy.

The police operation coded "Part of", for the capture of a citizen announced as an international wanted man, is finalized.

Convicted in Italy, with over 7 years of imprisonment, for participating in a criminal organization for drug trafficking, the 39-year-old is located, captured and arrested with the intention of extradition.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Section, following the police operations for the capture of the wanted citizens, which take place within the framework of the "Rule of Law" mega-operation, as well as as a result of the continuous exchange of information between Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome, organized and finalized the coded police operation "Part of".

During the operation, in the "10 Korriku" neighborhood, the internationally wanted citizen was located, captured and provisionally arrested, to be extradited to Italy:

Henerik Boba alias Ermal Hitaj, 39 years old.

The Court of Florence has sentenced this citizen to 7 years and 4 months of imprisonment for the criminal offense "Trafficking in narcotics", committed within the criminal organization, according to the provisions of the Italian Criminal Code.

Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome are cooperating to carry out the extradition of this citizen./ CNA
