Wanted for various criminal offences/ The two brothers are arrested in Kruja

Kruja police have announced that they have arrested two brothers wanted for various criminal offences.

The arrested have been identified with the initials A. Ç. and G. Ç.

Citizen A. Ç., was sentenced to 3 years and 4 months of imprisonment, as an accomplice in the armed robbery of a sum of money, in a gas station, in the village of Arramerras, in 2021.

Whereas in April 2024, it is suspected that the 2 brothers punched a citizen and then shot a firearm in the air.

Police notification:

The Krujë Police Station, in cooperation with the services of the Special Force "Shqiponja", based on information intelligence, has organized and finalized the coded operation "Brothers", as a result of which the wanted citizens were caught and detained: A. Ç. , 21 years old and G. Ç., 27 years old (brothers), both residents of Krujë.  

Citizen A. Ç., the Court of Appeal has sentenced to 3 years and 4 months of imprisonment, for the criminal offenses "Theft with a weapon", committed in collaboration and "Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition", as accomplice in the armed robbery of a sum of money at a gas station in the village of Arramerras in 2021.    

Also, it is suspected that in cooperation with his brother, citizen G. Ç., on 07.04.2024, they punched citizen SD and then shot with firearms, in the air, for weak motives.   

The procedural materials were passed to the Tirana Prosecutor's Office for further action. /CNA
