Assets worth 450,000 euros were seized/ Owned by two convicts

DVP Elbasan/In implementation of the measures defined in the national operational plan "Rule of Law", work continues on tracking and confiscating crime assets.

The coded police operation "Real Estate 2" is finalized.

Real estate worth about 450,000 euros is seized, which is suspected to have come from the criminal activities of 2 citizens convicted in Italy, for trafficking and exploitation for prostitution.

Within the framework of the "Rule of Law" mega-operation and as a result of property investigations carried out by the Section for the Investigation of Economic Crimes of the DVP Elbasan, in cooperation with the Prosecution of Elbasan, in order to trace and seize the assets derived from criminal activities, it was developed the coded police operation "Real Estate 2", during which, in accordance with the decisions of the Court of Elbasan, the following were seized:

• 1 apartment owned by the citizen SA, 49 years old, located in the neighborhood "Dyli Haxhire", Elbasan, after this citizen is convicted in Italy, for the criminal offense "Trafficking and exploitation for prostitution";

• 1 premises owned by the citizen EG, 42 years old, located in the neighborhood "Kongresi", Elbasan, as this citizen is convicted in Italy, with 8 years of imprisonment, for the criminal offense "Trafficking and exploitation for prostitution".

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office for further action.
