30 thousand euros are seized in Kapshtica

Border Police Services have attacked illegality in Kapshtica.

The border police have checked in detail the "Volvo" type truck, driven by the citizen G. Gj..

30,000 euros were found hidden in the tape of the truck cabin, which citizen G. Gj. intended to bring them into Albania, without declaring compliance with the laws in force.

At the end of the procedural actions for the case, the proceedings started in free status for the citizen G. Gj., 38 years old, resident in Tirana.

He is charged with the criminal offense of "Failure to declare money and valuables at the border". Also, the amount of euros was seized as material evidence.

Meanwhile, the procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the Korça General Jurisdiction, for further actions./ CNA
