The Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in the Directorate for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime in the Criminal Police Department, in cooperation with the Directorate of the Special Operational Force, as well as under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana, finalized the coded police operation "Apps" , as a result of which the citizen Sh. S., 26 years old, resident in Tirana.

The 26-year-old was caught red-handed while taking 20,000 euros from the administrator of a private entity, whom he had defrauded in various applications. Also, as a result of this operation, the suspected organizer of this case, citizen LD, 24 years old, was identified and declared wanted.

During the investigations, it was found that these citizens, presenting themselves as high state officials, asked the administrator for 50,000 euros.

Work is being done to locate and capture the citizen LD, who from the verifications shows that he is abroad, and the investigations continue to identify and bring to criminal responsibility, the other citizens who may have been implicated in this case./ CNA
