They were driving with Kalashnikovs in the car/ Two arrested in Elbsan

They were walking around armed with Kalashnikovs, 2 citizens with criminal records inside or outside the country were arrested in the act.

The Kalashnikov firearm, its cartridges and the vehicle used by the arrested persons were seized.

As a result of a proactive investigation, followed in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office of Elbasan, against the possession of weapons without a permit, the Narcotics Investigation Section and the Special Operational Force of the Elbasan Local Police Directorate finalized the police operation coded "Clues". As part of the operation, the Police services, based on the information provided during the proactive investigation, have stopped for checks, on "Iliaz Kosova" street, the vehicle driven by the citizen AK, 32 years old (previously convicted in Germany), and with passenger, RS citizen, 30 years old (with precedent for injury and opposition to police officers).

During the checks, 1 Kalashnikov firearm with military ammunition was found under the passenger's seat, which was possessed by the arrested persons without permission.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of Elbasan General Jurisdiction, for further actions.
