Part of a criminal group in Italy/ The 41-year-old man is arrested in Kamez

The police have arrested a 41-year-old man from Kamza, declared an international wanted man.

The Blues inform that the citizen with the initials PS was located and provisionally arrested, to be extradited to Italy.

He was declared an international wanted by the Italian authorities, after the Court of Perugia, Italy, in 2023, has set the security measure "Arrest in prison".

The 41-year-old is accused of having committed the criminal offense of "Participation in a structured criminal group for the purpose of drug trafficking".

According to the blues, in 2022, the SP citizen in collaboration with several other people created a criminal group with the aim of trafficking and then selling cocaine in different quantities, but were discovered by the authorities of the neighboring state.

Now, Interpol Tirana and Interpol Rome are cooperating to carry out his extradition./ CNA
