The massacre of Kuçova/ The person sentenced to life imprisonment requests a retrial at the GJKKO

Fran Marashi, who was sentenced to life imprisonment for the Kuçova massacre where 5 police officers were killed, has requested a retrial of the decision at the GJKKO.

26 years after the event, Marashi has returned for retrial in the Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.

Marashi made the request some time ago and this Tuesday he arrived from the high security prison where he is held in Peqin, before the judge Erjon Bani and prosecutor Alfred Shehu. The session was adjourned, leaving time available for the families of the victims to be informed about the re-opening of the process.
