The police have discovered that two private companies in Fier were dumping hydrocarbon waste into the Gjanica river.

The Blues have started investigations for 3 people, including two directors.

It is known that the citizens with the initials: 

-KA, 34 years old, in charge of the Oil Production Center, Fier, and SA, 35 years old, in charge of the Decanting Sector, Patos, in a private company Sh. A.;
- EB, 61 years old, as director of hydrocarbon operations, in another private company, also Sh. A.

From the investigations, it results that the 2 private companies where these 3 persons are responsible employees, through their activity in the field of hydrocarbons, have polluted the waters of the Gjanica river, after having discharged the waste of these materials there.

Meanwhile, the materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Fier General Jurisdiction, for further procedural actions, for the criminal offense "Air, water and land pollution"./ CNA
