Explosives in Durrës/ Police provide details

Police have provided information regarding the explosive material found this evening in Durrës.

The police statement states that the explosive found at the entrance to the building, which had previously been a hotel, is suspected to be homemade.

The Blues of the coastal city announce that in collaboration with RENEA, actions are being taken to determine the type of case and identify the perpetrators.

"Durres/ Preliminary information

-In neighborhood no. 1, Durrës, at the entrance of a building (former hotel, out of operation), a suspected amount of explosive material, suspected to be homemade, was found in one of the flower pots. The investigation team, in cooperation with the RENEA Anti-Explosive Unit, is carrying out actions to clarify the circumstances, determine the type of material found, as well as identify and capture the perpetrator(s), the police announce./ CNA
