Police have revealed the circumstances of yesterday's incident in Marikaj, where a person was hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

Today, the Blues report that EA (M.) was initially accidentally injured with the weapon he possessed without permission and then shot several times, with the aim of staging an assassination attempt against him.

The 40-year-old, previously convicted of illegal possession of a weapon and property crimes, was placed in handcuffs by police.

A 43-year-old man was also arrested for failing to report a crime.

The circumstances of the incident that occurred yesterday morning in the village of Marikaj are being documented. He accidentally shot himself in the apartment with a firearm he possessed without a permit, and then shot himself several times, in order to stage an assassination attempt on himself, the 40-year-old man is being held in custody. The arrested man, previously convicted of illegal possession of a weapon and crimes against property, has been charged with murder.  

A 43-year-old man was also arrested for failing to report a crime. Following the investigative actions carried out by the Vora Police Commissariat, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, to clarify the circumstances of the gunshot wound to a citizen, who had presented himself to the hospital for medical assistance, it was possible to clarify and document the circumstances of the incident. At the end of the actions in the case, the following citizens were arrested: EA(M.), 40 years old (the injured citizen) and SK, 43 years old, both residents of the village of Marikaj.

The investigation suspects that the 40-year-old accidentally shot himself in the apartment with a firearm, which he possessed without permission, and then shot several times, in order to stage an assassination attempt on him. To prevent the truth from being discovered, this citizen removed the DVR of a security camera near his apartment. Citizen SK transported the 40-year-old to the hospital and during the procedural actions by the Police, did not report the circumstances of the incident. 

The 40-year-old remains in medical care, out of danger. The firearm was found in the citizen's apartment and seized as evidence.
