Bar house in Fier/ The perpetrator and an OSHEE employee are arrested

The police have finalized the "Led" operation, within the framework of which an environment suitable for the cultivation of narcotics was discovered.

The officers have arrested the 63-year-old IG, as the suspected perpetrator of this criminal activity.

An OSHEE employee was also arrested, suspected of having favored this activity by not noticing the illegal electricity connection.

Cannabis plants, electrical panels, and light bulbs were seized as material evidence.

Police discover inside a house an environment adapted for cultivating narcotic plants using lamps.

The anti-cannabis operation codenamed "Led" is successfully finalized.

During the operation, narcotics and various electrical equipment used for cultivation were seized.

The owner of the apartment who had adapted it for the cultivation of narcotic plants and the OSHEE employee were arrested for abuse of office.

The Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the Fier Police Commissariat, as part of the work to prevent and crack down on criminal activities in the field of narcotics, and based on police information and rapid investigative actions, finalized the police operation codenamed "Led".

As part of this operation, a residence was identified in the village of Vadhiza, adapted for the cultivation of narcotic plants, through lamps.

An illegal electricity connection was found in this apartment, which served to supply energy to equipment such as lamps, extractor hoods, air filters, etc., which helped in the cultivation and growth of narcotic plants.

During the operation, the suspected perpetrator of this criminal activity, citizen IG, 63 years old, resident of Vadhiza, who cultivated the plants in the premises of his apartment, was arrested.

Following the investigative actions, the OSHEE employee, a 61-year-old Macedonian citizen, resident of Patos, was also arrested for abuse of office, as he is suspected of having favored this criminal activity by not recording the illegal electricity connection.

During the search of the apartment, as material evidence, the following were seized: 41 Cannabis Sativa narcotic plants, 57 Cannabis seedlings, a quantity of processed cannabis narcotics, 784 cannabis seeds, 5 electrical panels, 8 light and heating lamps, 2 filters, 3 cooling fans, 2 extractor hoods and 18 other electrical devices used for indoor cultivation.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Fier for further action.
