A 29-year-old man has been criminally prosecuted at large after it emerged that he was the driver of a heavy-duty truck that had spilled inert materials into the sea.

The incident happened a few days ago near the Golem sea.

Citizen KM is being investigated for the criminal offense of "Air, water and land pollution".

Announcement:

Immediately after the publication of a video, through which it was claimed that inert materials were being dumped into the sea in Golem, the services of the Kavaja Police Commissariat carried out the necessary verifications to clarify the circumstances of the case.

At the end of the actions, it turned out that on behalf of the entity managing the beach area shown in the video, inert materials were not being poured, but sea sand, with the aim of avoiding erosion of the shore by waves.

Further, regarding the entry of the heavy tonnage vehicle (truck) into the sea, proceedings were initiated at large against the driver of the vehicle, citizen KM, 29 years old, for the criminal offense of "Air, water and land pollution." /CNA
