The Durrës Court has granted the security measure, Armando Sulejmani, former member of the Gaxhai gang.

It is learned that the court set the security measure 'arrest in prison' for 2 months for Armando Sulejmani. 

The latter was arrested two days ago in the coastal city while driving a car with stolen license plates. 

"The car belongs to my friend, not mine, I used it. I have nothing to do with the theft of the "Range Rover" car in Tirana. The car I was traveling in belongs to a friend of mine. I did not know that there were license plates of another car in the trunk", he said. 

Armando Sulejmani, otherwise known as "Chipuri", on February 22 did not obey the order to stop and tried to leave quickly.

After verification, it turned out that the license plates of the Benz car Sulejmani was driving belonged to a "Land Rover", stolen in November 2023 in Tirana./ CNA
