Another fraud involving significant amounts of money has been discovered by the police in Tirana.

The 34-year-old woman with the initials MK was arrested after she took money from a person, deceiving her that she was an employee of the Cadastre and that she would legalize her property.

Also, her accomplice, the 41-year-old with the initials JM, was identified and declared wanted.

The Blues seized 450,000 ALL, 1 "Audi" type vehicle, 2 mobile phones and other documents that will serve the investigation.

"As a result of an investigation followed with proactive methods, for the documentation with legal evidence of a case of fraud with serious consequences, which was carried out through the unjust appropriation of the duty as an employee at the State Cadastre Agency, the coded police operation "Promise" was finalized ", in which the MK citizen, 34 years old, living in Tirana, was arrested.

During the investigation period, it was proven that the 34-year-old woman, who was arrested in the act while taking the injured, the amount of 450,000 lek, had deceived this citizen that she was an employee of the Cadastre, as well as that she would legalize and register the ownership of a object.

Also, the suspected accomplice of citizen MK, citizen JM, 41 years old, resident in Tirana, was identified and declared wanted. The police continue the work to capture him.

In the meantime, investigations continue to identify and bring before criminal responsibility, other citizens who may have been involved in this case.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction in Tirana, for further action, for the criminal offenses of 'Fraud', with serious consequences, 'Forgery of documents' and 'Appropriation of title or state office'" , it is stated in the police announcement./ CNA
