Elections/ Did Thaçi and former KLA leaders exercise their right to vote? Reaction from The Hague

The spokesperson for the Specialist Chambers of The Hague, Michael Doyle, stated that in coordination with the CEC, all actions have been taken to ensure that detainees in The Hague exercise their right to vote in the local elections in Kosovo.

However, he did not provide details on whether former President Hashim Thaçi and former KLA leaders Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, Rexhep Selimi and others voted.

"In coordination with the Central Election Commission, the KSK has taken all steps within the scope of its authority, so that all detainees in the KSK Detention Centers who wish to do so can exercise their civic right as citizens of Kosovo to vote in the elections ," Doyle said in a statement to the media in Kosovo./CNA
