In an interview for an Albanian media in America, the former special envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue of the USA, Richard Grenell, has responded to the criticisms that have often been made against him for being on the side of Serbia.

Richard Grenell denied the allegations and claimed that he was not biased, and he added that the news that has been circulating is false.

"It has often been hinted in the media that I am on the side of Serbia, but these are fake news. When you are negotiating with two parties, you must be friends with both parties. I have said or done many things that Serbia did not like, and Kosovo, on the other hand, did not like many things, but my goal was to reach an agreement between them," said Richard Grenell.

On the other hand, Richard Grenell also spoke about his relations with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, where he criticized him, labeling him as anti-American.

"I've worked with Kurt, but I have to say he's consistently anti-American. He always departs from America's positions. It has been criticized by the whole world, by Joe Biden's government, by France, Germany and many other European countries," said Grenell./CNA
