Over 100 kilograms of drugs are seized in Kosovo

The Kosovo police announced that on Sunday night they seized 107 kilograms of suspected marijuana-type narcotic substance.

According to the announcement of the Kosovo Police, a truck with foreign license plates, which was driven by a Serbian citizen, MP, was stopped at the customs terminal, where during the control, 101 plastic packages with marijuana were found in the two tanks of derivatives.

"As evidence, the following were seized: a phone, a GPS, a tachograph diagram disc, the truck, 95 euros and 2,500 dinars," the announcement states.

The suspect, born in 1991, was detained for 48 hours. The police said that they "remain committed to preventing and combating all illegal phenomena, in particular with abusers of narcotic substances".
