Theodoros Pangalos, the former Foreign Minister of Greece who passed away today, is one of the politicians who has never denied his Arvanite origin.

For 4 years, from 1996 to 1999, he served as the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece. He narrated his experience in the book "With Papandreou in Europe".

This book, also translated into Albanian, was presented in Tirana in May 2018. At the presentation of the book in the capital, the Greek politician and former president Ilir Meta himself was present.

During the ceremony, the former Foreign Minister of Greece stated that: "The book talks about my relationship with Andrea Papandreou during my time as Foreign Minister. This book is valuable for Albanians who will start negotiations with Europe, I hope they start as soon as possible. Pangalos is one of the Greek politicians who has paid great attention to relations with Albania.
