The Kosovo Police "armours" 3 municipalities in the north, field checks

On Friday, the Kosovo Police is carrying out checkpoints in five areas in three municipalities in the north of the country and this operation is related to the attack in Banjska i Zveçani.

The police announce that these control orders are being implemented in coordination with EULEX and KFOR.

"Today, on 29.09.2023, the Kosovo Police is implementing the order of the competent court for checks, in five locations in three municipalities in the north of Kosovo. These operations are being carried out in connection with the recent events that took place in the village of Banjské. The operation police is continuing from the relevant units of the Kosovo Police, with the presence of the Prosecutor (of the PSRK) at the scene. In this case, the Kosovo Police informs the citizens that they do not need to worry. These control orders are being implemented in coordination with EULEX and KFOR", announces the Kosovo Police. /CNA
