Pope Leo XIV said today during a Sunday mass that no one should impose their ideas.

The Pope urged that tensions between tradition and innovation not turn into ideological oppositions and harmful polarizations.

"The supreme rule in the Church is love. No one is called to dominate; all are called to serve. No one must impose their ideas, we must all listen to one another. No one is excluded, we are all called to participate. No one possesses the whole truth, we must all seek it with humility and seek it together," the Pope said in St. Peter's Basilica.

The Pope celebrated Mass on the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time for the closing of the Jubilee of the Synodal Teams and Participating Bodies, part of the wider Jubilee of Hope of the Church in 2025. /CNA
