President Vjosa Osmani, during the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, Nikos Dendias, also discussed the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process.

This is stated in the press release of the Presidency, on March 12, after the meeting they had in Pristina.

"Regarding the recent developments in the dialogue process with Serbia, President Osmani has emphasized that the implementation plan of the agreement must be in accordance with the Constitution of the Republic, which will contribute to long-term peace and stability in the region, as long as reiterated that the coordination of Kosovo with allies in this process will continue", the announcement states.

Më 27 shkurt në Bruksel, kryeministri i Kosovës, Albin Kurti, dhe presidenti i Serbisë, Aleksandar Vuçiç, e pranuan planin europian për normalizimin e raporteve. Bartësit e dialogut, po ashtu, u shprehën të gatshëm të punojnë në planin për zbatimin e këtij propozimi.

Dokumenti prej 11 nenesh – që u bë publik nga BE-ja – nuk përmend në mënyrë specifike njohjen e ndërsjellë, që Qeveria e Kosovës ka thënë se duhet të jetë në qendër të një marrëveshjeje eventuale për normalizim të raporteve.

Megjithatë, në nenin 2 të propozimit thuhet se palët duhet të respektojnë pavarësinë, sovranitetin dhe integritetin territorial të njëra-tjetrës. Propozimi, po ashtu, përfshin zotimin e palëve për t'i respektuar të gjitha marrëveshjet e arritura deri më tani në dialogun për normalizimin e marrëdhënieve, si dhe përkushtimin e tyre për të mos e penguar njëra-tjetrën në proceset integruese.

Rundi i ri i dialogut është caktuar të mbahet më 18 mars në Ohër të Maqedonisë së Veriut, dhe sipas BE-së, qëllimi kryesor tani është që palët të arrijnë pajtim rreth një plani si dhe modaliteteve për zbatimin e propozimit europian.

Veç dialogut, Osmani tha se me ministrin grek ka diskutuar edhe për zhvillimet e fundit në rajon dhe forcimin e bashkëpunimit dypalësh në mes të Kosovës dhe Greqisë.

"Kosovo continues to be committed to long-term peace in the region, strengthening of democracy and full integration in the Euro-Atlantic institutions", Osmani wrote on "Facebook".

This is Minister Dendia's sixth visit to Kosovo, she said.

Greece and four other countries of the European Union - Spain, Romania, Cyprus and Slovakia - do not recognize the independence of Kosovo, which was declared in February 2008./ Rel
