Bus attacked by Russian drone in Ukraine/ 12 workers killed

Twelve people have been killed in a Russian drone strike near a company bus in eastern Ukraine. According to preliminary reports, seven others were injured in the attack in the Pavlohrad district.

This was announced on Telegram by the head of the regional military administration, Oleksandr Ganzha, who announced that investigations into the attack have been launched.

"We are investigating the details. An air alert is underway in the region," Ganzha said.

Energy company DTEK said the vehicle was transporting its workers from a mine in the region after they had finished their shift.

The incident comes after at least nine people were injured in attacks early Sunday, according to local officials. Six people were injured in a drone strike on a maternity hospital in Zaporizhzhia, including two women who were undergoing medical examinations when the facility was hit. /CNA
