NATO: Paketë prej 920 milionë eurosh për armët amerikane në Ukrainë

Suedia, Norvegjia dhe Danimarka do të kontribuojnë së bashku me 420 milionë euro në një iniciativë të udhëhequr nga NATO për të furnizuar Ukrainën me armë amerikane.

Të hënën, Holanda u bë vendi i parë që njoftoi pjesëmarrjen e saj në iniciativë me 500 milionë euro. Suedia tha se kontributi i saj do të arrinte në 240 milionë euro.

Paketa do të përfshijë sisteme anti-ajrore ‘Patriot’ dhe pajisje të tjera të aviacionit, si dhe municione antitank.

Sekretari i Përgjithshëm i NATO-s, Mark Rutte, tha se Aleanca Atlantike ishte mirënjohëse ndaj tre vendeve të Evropës Veriore për mobilizimin e tyre të shpejtë për të financuar paketën.

NATO ka njoftuar se do të koordinojë iniciativën e Listës së Kërkesave me Prioritet për Ukrainën (PURL), e financuar nga shtetet anëtare evropiane të NATO-s dhe Kanadaja dhe e ndarë në paketa prej 500 milionë dollarësh./CNA
