The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, in an interview on the eve of the launch of the campaign, says that he remains open to cooperating with the investigation body, but he expects to give the testimony in his office.

"I don't have any new information about this matter. I was called there as a witness to testify about a case. I remain open to cooperating with the prosecutor's office and the courts, and I have invited to testify in my office. I hope this happens as soon as possible" , said Kurti.

The actions of the Kosovo government in the north brought many critical statements from the international community and sanctions from the EU for the country. Despite this climate, which has passed according to the Prime Minister, he sees no obstacles to having excellent relations with the USA, which he also calls a special friend of Kosovo.

"We have met all the requirements for the defense budget as requested by President Trump and we may even exceed the 2 percent figure. I don't see any obstacle why we shouldn't have excellent relations with the USA, which is our main ally and a special friend," underlined Albin Kurti.

Just a few days before his inauguration as US president, Kurti says that there will be cooperation with Donald Trump.

"We will cooperate and communicate with President Trump. Our communications are developed in an official institutional manner, before they are developed with companies or realtors" , said Kurti. /CNA
