Israel strikes a large weapons cache in Gaza, the entire area ablaze

The Israeli military has struck a large weapons cache in Gaza, resulting in massive explosions. Israel's massive airstrike against a Hamas ammunition depot in Gaza has caused massive fires over Gaza. 

The Israeli military says the attack launched by Hamas on Saturday resembles the September 2001 attack on the US. 

"This is our 9/11 - they got us, " says one spokesman, while another compares it to the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor.

Israel is still fighting Palestinian militants in many places near the Gaza border. More than 700 people have been killed in Israel since Hamas launched its attacks on Saturday morning, including 260 at a music festival. 

And almost 500 have died in Gaza since Israel launched massive retaliatory airstrikes./ CNA
