Former NATO spokesperson: The North is an internal issue of Kosovo

Former NATO spokesman during the war in Kosovo, Jamie Shea, has stated that the presence of Serbian army forces on the border is unacceptable.

He emphasized that Belgrade should give up interfering in the internal affairs of Kosovo.

During the interview for Euronews Albania, Jamie Shea also gave a message for Kosovo to work together with the EU and the USA.

 " I was quite clear about sending Serbian military forces to the border for an issue that does not belong to Serbia, but is an internal issue of Kosovo. There is an overreaction, it is unacceptable to send these troops. They must be returned to their place. Belgrade should stop interfering in Kosovo's internal affairs. The north is an internal issue of Kosovo. My message is: Kosovo, work together with EU and USA! Despite the anger, don't lose the trust of your closest friends," he said./ CNA.al
