During the Hajj in Mecca and Medina, 14 Jordanians lost their lives, while 17 are missing, the Jordanian Foreign Ministry announced today.
As reported by the Jordanian news agency PETRA, the ministry is cooperating with the authorities of Saudi Arabia so that the dead bodies can be given to the family members.
At the same time, the search continues for the 17 Jordanian pilgrims who disappeared during the Hajj in Saudi Arabia.
All Muslims are required to perform the Hajj once in their lifetime if they are physically fit and financially able to do so.
