Prime Minister of Kosovo Albin Kurti met on Saturday with the General Secretary of the Vienna Economic Forum (VEF), Elena Kirtcheva. According to the announcement of the Prime Minister's Office, the meeting discussed the next steps in the direction of advancement and the role of the organization, as well as to promote businesses from Kosovo as a measure towards economic development.

"During the meeting, they discussed the possibility of advancing the status of the organization with the help of the Republic of Kosovo as a member of the VEF, as well as the organization of the next forum in Vienna during November of this year," the announcement states.

The focus of the meeting was also the establishment of the VEF office in the Republic of Kosovo, which will be agreed through a memorandum of understanding between the organization and the Office of the Prime Minister.
