FBI seizes $13 million supercar/Owner a wanted criminal

The FBI has seized a rare, multi-million dollar supercar belonging to Ryan Wedding's criminal organization.

The 2002 Mercedes CLK GTR is valued at $13 million and is one of only six ever produced.

Wedding, who lived in BC and competed for Canada in the Winter Olympics, is wanted by the FBI with a $15 million reward offered for information leading to his arrest.

US authorities say Wedding controls one of the largest and most violent drug trafficking operations in the world, responsible for moving an estimated 60 metric tons of cocaine each year and dozens of murders.

The car seized by the FBI is believed to be linked to his organization. 

Wedding, 44, was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list earlier this year. The man is said to be living in Mexico./CNA
