The United Arab Emirates and its air defenses have faced 186 missiles and 812 drones launched towards the country since the start of the US-Israeli conflict with Iran, the UAE Ministry of Defense has said.

Brigadier General Abdul Nasser Mohammed Al-Humaidi, a defense spokesman, said only one missile fell on the country's territory. The UAE's air defenses were able to intercept 172 missiles, while 13 others fell into the sea.

The air defense also detected 812 Iranian drones flown into the UAE, 57 of which fell within the country's territory. In addition to the remaining 755 drones that the air defense was able to intercept, the UAE also detected and destroyed eight cruise missiles.

In total, three people have been killed in the UAE since the conflict began, the spokesman said. There were 68 cases of minor injuries, as well as some minor to moderate damage to civilian objects. /CNA
