The 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Consultative Council

The 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Consultative Council and the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Consultative Council began on March 3 at the Baku Convention Center.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and the European Commissioner for Energy and Housing, Dan Jørgensen, delivered speeches at the event. The meeting was attended by representatives from 27 countries, including Albania and other European countries, 11 international financial institutions and organizations, and 49 energy companies.

Participants include ministers, deputy ministers and other senior officials. Albania is represented at this event by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Erlind Sulo.

After the opening session, the summit continued with a Ministerial Meeting and plenary sessions entitled Southern Gas Corridor Session: Supporting the Success and Promoting the Next Phase of Development of the Southern Gas Corridor and Green Energy Projects.

The 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Consultative Council

The EU-Azerbaijan Roundtable on Investment in Green Connectivity will be held as part of the Consultative Council. At the end of the event, a press conference will be held on the outcomes of the 12th Ministerial Meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Consultative Council and the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Green Energy Consultative Council.
