Bjellorusia miraton dënimin me vdekje për të dënuarit për tradhti të lartë

Lideri bjellorus, Alyaksandr Lukashenka, ka nënshkruar ligjin që lejon shqiptimin e dënimit me vdekje kundër zyrtarëve dhe ushtarakëve të dënuar për tradhti të lartë, tha zyra e tij.

Bjellorusia, aleate e ngushtë e Rusisë, është shteti i vetëm në Evropë që ende zbaton dënimin me vdekje. Ky dënim veçse shqiptohet për krime sikurse vrasjet apo aktet e terrorizmit.

Ekzekutimet kryhen me një goditje të vetme me plumb pas koke.

Ligji i ri është pjesë e ndryshimeve të Kodit Penal që synon të forcojë luftën e Bjellorusisë kundër “krimeve të ekstremistëve [terroristëve] dhe orientimit kundër shtetit”.

Sipas ndryshimeve të miratuara nga Lukashenka, kushdo që gjendet fajtor për “diskreditimin” e forcave ushtarake bjelloruse do të përballen me burgim. Rusia ka miratuar ligj të ngjashëm pas nisjes së pushtimit të Ukrainës një vit më parë.

Bjellorusia nuk ka dërguar trupa në Ukrainë, por ka lejuar Rusinë që të përdorë territorin e saj për të nisur luftën në shkurt të vitit 2022 dhe që atëherë ka lejuar avionët rusë dhe dronët që të përdorin hapësirën e saj ajrore për të sulmuar Ukrainën./REL
