Poland puts the military on high alert

EU Council President Charles Michel tweeted that he was "shocked" that a missile or other munition had hit Polish territory. "We are on the side of Poland", emphasized Michel. The EU's foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte said the same.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock also assured Poland of its support. She tweeted that her thoughts were with "close ally and neighbor" Poland. Germany is in close contact with its "Polish friends and NATO allies".

Poland puts the military on high alert

Poland assured that it is in close contact with allies to clarify the situation, about the two Russian missiles that hit Przewodow, a Polish village near the border with Ukraine.
